CONFIDENCE FOR HIGH ACHIEVERS

A lot of high achievers think confidence is built by accumulating more evidence.

Another qualification.
Another promotion.
Another successful launch.
Another good result.

Another person saying, “You’re amazing.”

But somehow, the evidence doesn’t land.

You can look confident.
Sound confident.
Be the person everyone else sees as capable, intimidating, impressive, successful.

And still not feel confident inside.

I know this well.

At my first international conference as a scientist, I stood on a stage in front of a huge auditorium, with my slides behind me bigger than I had ever seen them and iIn the front row scientists whose work I had admired for years.

From the outside, I probably looked like a confident young PhD student.

But really, I had vomited just before from nerves.

That is the thing about confidence.

Visibility can look like confidence.

Achievement can look like confidence.

Competence can look like confidence.

But they are not the same thing.

IN FACT, if achievement created confidence, high achievers would be the most confident people in the world!!

Most often, they are not.

Because confidence is NOT about what you have done.

It is about the relationship you have with yourself while you are doing it.

Do you trust yourself when things are uncertain?

Do you believe yourself when you say, “I can handle this”?

Do you know who you are without needing the next result to confirm it?

That is the work. And that is what we work on inside The High Achievers’ Club.

If this is the kind of confidence you want to build, message me “confidence” and we can talk about whether we are the right fit.

The Brain Wipes

I don’t teach brand-new ideas: I make the best ones finally click. I simplify what others have already figured out—minus the fluff, the jargon, and the overthinking. Burnout, grief, decision-making, emotional bandwidth, capacity and better relationships… all made simple and a little bit sassy.(Okay fine, sometimes I do teach brand-new ideas. Boom.)
